One member of the OnAir community, Springmont in Sandy Springs, Georgia, shared what they did for Earth Day this year. We love it so much that we’d like to share their ideas with you for inspiration for next year!

Springmont students from Toddler through Middle School celebrated Earth Day by gathering together around our Peace Pole on campus. Students and Teachers alike sang songs, read poems and shared what Earth Day means to each other. The students’ Earth Day-inspired art also decorated the Activity Court. Throughout the week, students held events such as a clothing recycling drive, a bake sale for the World Wildlife Fund and a tree sapling planting to further enjoy the festivities.
