We just came across this news from Sustainable America that 17-year-old Alex Scaperotta in Wilton, Connecticut has spearheaded a program to end idling in his hometown. According to the post, 266 residents to date have taken the online pledge to idle for no longer than 10 seconds when not in traffic. Way to go, Alex!
